NOVELS AND SHORT STORIES
For a while I classed my novels as historical fiction, but after having seen most of what passes as historical — the bodice-ripper / princess and knight / Game of Thrones-style fantasy — I no longer wish to be associated with the genre. My stories are situated in a particular time, yes, but not a parody of the period, not a pastiche. And though love is usually part of the plot, these are not romances in costume.
